2.7.1) AH HA is the second album by Abby Huston, released in October 2021 via Egghunt Records. It's available via Target and directly from her Bandcamp page.
2.7.2) Cameron Smith is a Richmond record producer that has produced for Benét, Jason Jamal, Catie Lausten, Bonne Chère, & more.
2.7.3) The Newlin Music Prize celebrates the best album from the Richmond-Petersburg metropolitan area. Their 2022 winner was McKinley Dixon's For My Mama And Anyone Who Look Like Her and the 2023 winner was Deau Eyes' Legacy.
2.7.4) Abby Huston collaborated with Ant the Symbol and Logos The Poetic on the new track "Can We Talk?" available everywhere now.
2.7.5) O-Z is a Richmond rapper and Liner Notes alum. He notably won the RVA Rap Elite Madness tourney in 2020.
2.7.6) Michael Millions is a Richmond rapper and engineer that has worked with Mad Skillz, Nickelus F, Fly Anakin, and more.
2.7.7) Hourglass Sessions is a community music platform that releases video performances of Richmond artists. Abby's session was simultaneously broadcast via Decentraland.
2.7.8) Tyler Scheerschmidt is a Richmond musician (Pebble's Palace), filmmaker, and co-founder of Out Of Sight Creative LLC and Hourglass Sessions.
2.7.9) Daydream Fest is an annual music festival at Mainline Brewery. Their 2022 lineup was headlined by Butcher Brown and Palm Palm.
2.7.10) Jason Jamal aka Jason Garland (he/him) is a classical trombonist turned R&B singer-songwriter based out of Richmond, VA.
2.7.11) Tribe Ninety Five is a Hip Hop collective/label representing northern Virginia and Richmond, VA. Roster: Ty Sorrell (Hip Hop/R&B Artist/Producer/), Luther (Hip Hop Artist), Chris Long (Hip Hop Artist), Bien (Chillwave Pop/R&B Artist/Producer), Afrocat (Hip Hop Artist/ Producer/Dj), Jam Matsuji (Experimental Soul/ R&B Artist/Producer), Hipsturd (Hip Hop Producer/Dj).
2.7.12) EggHunt Records was founded in 2014 in Richmond, VA by Adam Henceroth and Greg Gendron. During the early days they released Lucy Dacus’ No Burden.
2.7.13) Adi GuerrerX is songwriter, producer and performer from Miami, FL based in Richmond, VA and approaches songwriting closely to the process of world building. Their production sets a sonic landscape, frequently combining arranged strings, sequenced drums and processed vocals.
