2.9.1) Warren hosts an open mic night at The Camel on the last Wednesday of each month. 1621 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220
2.9.2) Hunter Rhodes of Dead Billionaires and Neal Friedman of SuperDoppler make up the house band for The Camel's open mic nights.
2.9.3) Strange Matter and Cary St. Cafe were both pillars of the Richmond live music community that closed their doors in the last few years.
2.9.4) South By Southwest (SXSW) is one of the largest music, film, and media conferences in the world. It is held in Austin, TX each year and includes a variety of concerts, panels, and other events.
2.9.5) Mikaela Friedman is an Austin, TX based artist that makes everything from album covers to custom boots.
2.9.6) Chip Hale is a Richmond singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist , Rich Stine is a Richmond producer and engineer, and Rose Quartz Mastering is a San Diego mastering company.
2.9.7) Last year Dead Billionaires used crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to raise over $9,000 towards the promotion and release of their new album.
2.9.8) "Engines" from 2021's Dead Billionaires EP had a music video directed by Ashley Travis based around the concept of recording an album with a haunted soundboard.
2.9.9) Last year Dave Grohl (fellow Virginian), frontman of the Foo Fighters, released the film Studio 666, a horror comedy about recording an album in a haunted mansion.
2.9.10) "Short People" is a comedic song by Randy Newman that satirized prejudice by having an unreliable narrator make fun of short people.
